The Deca staff enjoyed another of its 2019 Spirit Day outing on Wednesday, September 25th.   We had an AXECELLENT night of axe throwing at the Axe House STL.  Axe throwing gets your blood pumping and adrenaline going, and it’s a great stress reliever too (not that we need stress relief in the property management business).

Part of our Spirit Day fun is supporting our local community and on this occasion the Affton Christian Food Pantry was the recipient of our support.

Also, to celebrate National Poetry Day, the Deca staff participated in a poetry contest, with the winner getting tickets to a Blues game.  One of the winning poems, written by our Charlie in the accounting department:

I think I shall never see

A property listing as lovely as thee.

An apartment with reasonable monthly rate

One that I doubt we’ll ever see paid late;

A unit that will make all of us proud

Because the tenants won’t ever be loud;

A rental home that see little wear

Since all of the tenants take good care;

With PM teams worthy of toasting

All of our owners should really be boasting;

Poems are made by fools like me

But only Deca manages so smartly.
