St. Louis MO 63123

Monday to Friday

9:00AM - 4:00PM

It’s a day like no other in St. Louis. Old Newsboys Day has been a tradition in St. Louis since 1957, when it began at the Globe-Democrat. It was initiated as a way to a group of people and kids in black and white photo from the 50'sbring together volunteers from all organizations to work together for one day.

The Deca Team will be participating at the intersection of Gravois and Mackenzie. Papers are free and donations are greatly appreciated. We hope you’ll stop by a pick up a copy of this very special edition. We’ll assemble at our location at 6 a.m.

The annual charitable project, now coordinated by the St. Louis Post Dispatch supports hundreds of children’s charities with millions of dollars in donations. The event runs for about two hours, on Friday, Nov. 16, from 7 to 9 a.m. and involves thousands of volunteers around the city of St. Louis.

The tradition is kept alive by residents and businesses with deep St. Louis roots–many of whom were newsboys or paper carriers in their youth.
