Field Representative – Property Management

Our company is currently seeking a Field Representative to work closely with the property managers and other office staff to help provide excellent customer service to both the property owner and resident through support, facilitation, and execution of property management process.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Be the “eyes of the property for the property manager” and visit properties as needed/requested
- Perform move in, move out and periodic inspections and promptly provide the reports
- Work with Property Manager and Maintenance Team to create a scope of work – for both Resident and Owner
- Quality Check – Final sign off on rent ready condition
- Market units (take pictures, video walk thru, complete description form, place signage)
- Install and remove lock boxes and signs as needed
- Keep lock box list up to date
- Apply for municipal inspections in person, as necessary
- Post notices on doors per request
- Check vacancy status per request
- Assist the Property Manager with monthly lease renewal report market rates
- Assist Property Manager with vacant/marketed units and help provide feedback, help determine ways to rent vacant properties that are sitting on the market, research other properties in area and determine rent rates, run comps
- Perform tasks assigned by property managers
- When time permits, take ownership of properties assigned to your team (clean common areas, pick up trash, take pictures)
OVERALL EXPECTATION: Keep cleaning necessities stocked and small handy tools on hand at all times. Perform small repairs and/or quick cleans when at properties that are vacant/marketed/move in ready. Never leave a unit if small things are needed (or return within 1 business day). Take ownership of every property you visit.
Leadership:
- Recommend/suggest changes to policies and procedures pertaining to field staff to Supervisor
- Develop working relationships and integrate with all staff
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience in a leasing/property management or similar
- Associates degree preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task/manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of fair housing compliance laws
- Knowledge of & ability to follow procedures
This job is an on-the-go job. You travel to multiple properties in a wide variety of areas everyday. MUST HAVE:
- Must have personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed $0.65/ mile)
- Must have valid drivers license
- Auto insurance showing a minimum of $100K in liability coverage

Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8 Hour shifts
